AA - Aqueous Liquids & Water Soluble Hydrocarbons

Smart-Bond Aqueous polymer encapsulates aqueous liquids and water soluble hydrocarbons, such as engine coolant and other aqueous solutions. It has the ability to solidify and stabilize hazardous liquids, using a very small amounts of polymer. It has a typical absorption rate of up to 300 times its own weight in neutral water.  Smart-Bond aqueous absorbent is heavier than water and will sink to absorb from the bottom up.  It will also absorb water from organic or synthetic hydrocarbons, removing the water from the hydrocarbons - excellent for use in oil and gas storage tanks or where water seepage is an issue.

•The absorbed liquid/s will form a jelly-like substance.  All water will be released at various rates of evaporation, based upon ambient temperature and humidity, leaving a hard diamond like granular texture that can be disposed of safely.

•Totally effective and cost efficient - generated mass through evaporation yields a tremendous reduction in the amount of waste disposed of with no hazardous fees.

•Will not absorb any free hydrocarbons, but will absorb virtually all hydrocarbons that are dissolved in a water phase.

•Fast acting and safe - encapsulation, stabilization, immobilization and solidification begin immediately upon contact between the polymer and the aqueous solution.

•Will absorb heavy metals and other dissolved solids that may be in liquid - available in convenient booms, bilge socks and bulk granulars.

•Extremely effective in mixing with all types of sludge's for the stabilization of liquids contained within the sludge.

•Forms a solid mass that is non-hazardous and safe to transport and dispose

•As a landfill waste the polymer will never leach or release any of the encapsulated material.

•In incineration it produces no ash.

•Meets USA EPA landfill requirements.
