The following Smart-Bond products were tested by an independent laboratory under EPA Test Method SW9095-Paint Filter Liquids Test. This test checks for any free-liquids that would be released after absorption.

HB & 100% Diesel
HO & 100% Cargill Transfer Oil
AA & 60%/40% Antifreeze/Water

Due to Smart-Bonds ability to not only absorb but to also encapsulate & solidify, all of the submitted sample passed. These results mean that the absorbed hazardous liquids would not be released after being encapsulated using Smart-Bond polymers.

Passing this “one-drop rule” test allows for the disposal of the absorbed and encapsulated hydrocarbons into local landfills.
